Pegasus
The shape: a large square (the Great Square of Pegasus).
Pegasus is the winged horse that sprang from the blood of Medusa. Its Great Square is the landmark of the autumn sky – inside the square you can hardly see a single star with the naked eye.
The stars of the figure
From bright to faint. Brightness is given in magnitudes (mag): the smaller the number, the brighter the star.

- Enif · 2.39 mag
- Scheat · 2.42 mag
- Markab · 2.48 mag

In the 3D model
In the 3D model, under “Explore”, the sky dome shows when the constellation Pegasus can be seen above Switzerland. “Constellations in 3D” shows how far apart its stars really are.
